During our photo session, I provide an environment that is comfortable and inspiring, through music, setting and conversation, while we work together to create images that bring you joy. In this environment, we will make images that celebrate your beauty, capture moments that are special to you and create works of art that are stunning pieces to display in your home.

In my work, I create images full of intimacy and artistry. In family sessions, I often place people together so that their faces fill the frame and the power of the eyes dominates. In maternity sessions, I focus on the beautiful shape of the belly, finding poses that powerfully and elegantly express each individual woman and her unique experience. With individual portraits, I create images that are more penetrating than a literal recording of a person's face.

Included in all sessions are:

A Session Confirmation Phone Call - a couple of days prior to our session, I will call you to answer any questions you have as well as confirm the details of our session.

The Session - Sessions last anywhere from 1-3 hours (when children are included, the length of the session is usually dictated by their timing). At the beginning of a session, we will spend time choreographing our time - looking at things you have brought and setting the stage for our session. Then, during our session, we play! We try different poses, different backgrounds and different moods. It is a very collaborative time where we can use music, props, fabrics and anything else we can think of to ultimately generate the images of your dreams (and often images that might never have occurred to us before we began.)

Proof/Post Session Consultation - About one week after our session, I will e-mail you a link to a password protected webpage with all of your proofs from our session. This webpage will remain active as long as you would like it to be available. You can e-mail this link to anyone you would like to see your images and they are free to contact me directly to order finished prints.

About a week after you have received your proofs, we will meet in person to review your images and design your final, finished art piece or pieces.
