Our photo session is only the beginning. During or proof review meeting, we will look closely at your favorite images to determine how to crop them, what size best suits the image and the space it is intended to be presented, and how best or if the image should be framed. From proof to finished image is where the magic of art happens.

Giclee images are not traditional Black and White fiber prints. Like digital photography itself, they are their own art medium with their own characteristics and profound beauty. The images are art objects. The image is embedded in pristine fine art watercolor paper which is as much of a joy to hold as it is to view.

The term giclée [pronounced zhi-CLAY] is the industry standard term that refers to exhibition quality, fine art digital prints, using pigment-based inks and museum-quality substrates which are archival, meaning the color will not fade or change over time.

Estimates of longevity are approximately 100 years and are based on third party accelerated aging tests. Our fine-art giclée prints are printed on acid-free Hahnemuhle Photo Rag watercolor paper.

Giclee printing has now become the most popular and requested way for artists, galleries and publishers to make reproductions and prints. The fine quality of the printed image is exceptional. Museums around the world have mounted exhibitions or purchased Giclee prints for their permanent collections.

Framing

E. Rain Images offers exhibition quality custom framing to our clients. Having us frame your images allows you to carry home your finished images ready to display - no hassle. Our pricing is competitive with frame shops using the same quality of materials.

We use Larson-Juhl "Soho" black wood frame molding, Crescent archival "White Glove" conservation mat, conservation glass and acid free foam core backing.

As with prints, we offer pricing for standard sizes and will provide quotes for non-standard sizes.

Your session includes an album of proof prints that you select. This album provides you with a beautiful and long lasting way to store or display images that you will treasure for generations.
